Saturday and Sunday, September 28 & 29, 2019 and October 5 & 6, 2019
Guided tours run at 10:30am, 11:15am, 12pm, 12:45pm, and 1:30pm
Tours will begin one block NORTH of the 12th and Imperial Trolley Station at Park 12 Aprartments.

Two and a half hour guided tours will take audiences of up to 75 people at a time to view newly-created, site specific dances performed by over 50 dancers from our region. Now in its 21st year of partnership with San Diego’s Metropolitan Transit System (MTS), San Diego Dance Theater’s Trolley Dances will utilize the trolley’s orange line to bring viewers to new locations they may have never seen before!
Choreographers selected by Ms. Isaacs to create site specific dances include Angel Acuna, Kevin Jenkins, Regula Mahler, Anjanette Maraya-Ramey, Lara Segura, and Jeremy Zapanta. Several will travel from out of town to San Diego this fall to create their new works, including Mahler, who will travel from Bern, Switzerland, to contribute to this project. None of these choreographers have previously created a dance for SDDT’s Trolley Dances and the company is excited to see the work that is produced.
